Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Answer Buddy ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Use of Service

Permitted Use

Answer Buddy is designed as an interview preparation and confidence tool. You may use it for practice sessions, interview support, and career development.

Prohibited Use

  • Sharing or reselling your license key
  • Reverse engineering the software
  • Using the service for fraudulent purposes
  • Violating any applicable laws or regulations
  • Using the service in ways that violate interview policies of hiring organizations

License Keys and Account Security

  • License keys are personal and non-transferable
  • You are responsible for keeping your license key secure
  • Unauthorized use of your key is your responsibility
  • We may suspend accounts for suspicious activity
  • You must rotate your key if compromised

Payment Terms

Billing

All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable GST.

Subscriptions

Enterprise plans are billed monthly. Sessions reset at the start of each billing cycle. Starter and Pro plans are one-time purchases with session validity of 90 days.

Session Usage

  • A session is one continuous interview/call (max 2 hours)
  • Reconnecting within 5 minutes counts as the same session
  • Unused sessions do not roll over (except Enterprise plans)
  • Sessions cannot be transferred between accounts
  • Fair use policy applies - excessive usage may be reviewed

Intellectual Property

Answer Buddy, including its software, design, and content, is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the software
  • Create derivative works
  • Remove proprietary notices
  • Use our branding without permission

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free service
  • 100% accuracy of transcriptions or AI suggestions
  • Interview success or job offers
  • Compatibility with all systems or platforms

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE LAST 12 MONTHS.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bangalore, India.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
